Curriculum Vitae

Prof. Cogo, MD, PhD is the head of the Pediatric Critical Care Lab (PCare) of the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, University of Padova. She has extensive clinical and laboratory expertise in Italy and abroad for almost 30 years. She is associate professor of Pediatrics and Chair of the Division of Pediatrics (University of Udine). She chairs the research section on Congenital Heart disease, ESPNIC Society and she is part of the international committee in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society. She is author of 153 Scopus-indexed documents (1620 citations) with an H-index of 22. Recently she obtained the graduation for Full Professor in Anaesthesiology (MED41) and in Pediatrics (MED 38).

  • 2008-2011 NIH Grant Number: 5R01HL082747-03. Collaborator. Proposal title: “Genetic regulation of surfactant deficiency” (700K USD).
  • 2011 Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù. PI. Proposal title: “Utilizzo di isotopi stabili per misurare la cinetica della proteina specifica B del surfattante in vivo in bambini con malattia respiratoria acuta” (15K EUR).
