Curriculum Vitae
2000: After the degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology she spent a 1-year research fellowship at the Farmaceutical Sciences Department within the context of an EU project working on PEG and antitumor drugs.
2001-2004: She worked at Oxford University, John Radcliffe Hospital, under the supervision of Professor David Mason (member of WHO) as research assistant in the lymphoma research field; during the same period, she was visiting fellow at Department of Pathology, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA, USA (2003).
2004-2008: She joined the Department of Pediatrics in Padova, Italy on a research fellowship studying on human amniotic fluid stem cells under the supervision of Dr. Paolo De Coppi and then she completed a PhD in Biology and Regenerative Medicine in 2008, focused on stem cells from human Bone Marrow. (Cellular and molecular biology techniques with in vivo applications were applied).
2009-2016: She got a post doc position at the Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine laboratory and since 2010 she was operative responsible of the laboratory.
2014: National Abilitation (ASN) for Associate Professor in Applied Biology (area 05/F1).
2016-now: Senior Researcher fellowship from the University of Padua, dept of Women’s and Children’s Health, project: Rhabdomyosarcoma microenvironment study through a tissue engineering approach.
She is author/coauthor of over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals and co-inventor of patent N. 0001422436 (Italian Patent) entitled “Matrice acellulare per ricostruzione in vivo di muscolo scheletrico”.
